  • Priceville Elementary tapped for state honor

PRICEVILLE — The Priceville Town Council on Thursday:

  • Approved $11,000 for ITC DeltaCom phone equipment for municipal building purchased from municipal court fees.

  • Approved three-year service contract with ITC DeltaCom at $944.45 per month.
  • Approved $646 to Garnett’s Lawn Equipment of Hartselle for two commercial weed trimmers for Street Department.
  • Approved resolution to allow employees to enter the Deferred Retirement Option Plan with the Employees Retirement System of Alabama.
  • Approved $100 per person to the Alabama League of Municipalities for a Safety and Security Certified Municipal Official Session in Huntsville on Sept. 29.
  • Approved $15 annual membership to Alabama Municipal Revenue Officer’s Association for Town Clerk Kelly Dean.
  • Approved $199 to Solid Oak Software Inc. of Santa Barbara, Calif., for three-year contract for software filter system to block inappropriate websites at library.
  • Approved receiving bids until Oct. 14 for one-year contract for patch paving on streets extending from Nov. 1, 2010, to Oct. 31, 2011.
