    Priceville’s mayor and town council members will receive salary increases totaling $12,500 during the next four-year term, beginning Nov. 5, 2012.

PRICEVILLE — The Priceville Town Council on Thursday:

  • Approved rate increases for legal services to La-nier Ford Shaver & Payne P.C. of Huntsville from $175 per hour to $195 per hour for general services and from $225 per hour to $245 for bond issues.

  • Approved resolution to join the National Flood In-surance Program so residents can get insurance.
  • Approved a joint purchasing agreement with the Morgan County Commission to use county bids for purchasing materials.
  • Approved $8,000 for expenses for 14th annual Priceville Cruise-In on Aug. 21 at Veterans Park.
  • Approved $1,989.20 to ADAPCO of Sanford, Fla., for mosquito spray.
  • Approved declaring two Panasonic copiers surplus and selling them on govdeals.com.
  • Approved declaring 2000 Ford Crown Victoria patrol car surplus and selling it on govdeals.com. with a minimum reserve of $300.
  • Approved 2007 audit.
