    Priceville’s mayor and town council members will receive salary increases totaling $12,500 during the next four-year term, beginning Nov. 5, 2012.

PRICEVILLE — The Priceville Town Council on Monday:

  • Approved up to $14,000 to replace walking trail lights at Veterans Park.

  • Approved $10,627.20 to Meyercord Revenue Inc. of Carol Stream, Ill., for 4-cent tobacco stamps.

  • Approved $269 for updated anti-virus/spyware software for Police Department computers.

  • Approved $5,055 to Watch Guard of Plano, Texas, for camera for patrol car.

  • Approved purchasing tires for patrol car on state bid list from Decatur OK Tire.

  • Approved resolution requesting county funding for library for fiscal 2011.

  • Approved lodging and other travel expenses for Mayor Melvin Duran and Councilman Tommy Perry to attend Alabama League of Municipalities Executive Committee meeting in Montgomery on July 14-15.
